Washington & New York: Greenwood Bioenergy Day Events

On Wednesday, October 22, Greenwood Clean Energy is participating in National Bioenergy Day. As one of the marquee locations from across the United States and Canada, Greenwood is hosting this historic event to demonstrate the many tangible and local benefits of bioenergy.

We invite you to attend a demonstration, open house and social at one of our two locations.

Atwater Estate Vineyards
Burdett, NY – October 22nd from 2:00-6:00pm
Overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake, the Atwater Estate Vineyards are one the regions premiere wineries. We will have a live demonstration of the innovative Greenwood Frontier CX wood boiler, educational displays and information, live cello music and tastes of local cuisine.

Greenwood Development and Innovation Center
Redmond, WA – October 22nd from 2:00-6:00pm

Just down the road from the Microsoft Corporation, Greenwood’s Development and Innovation Center is pioneering wood-fired boiler technology and laying the foundation for tomorrow’s biomass-fueled appliances. We will have live demonstrations of the Greenwood Frontier CX wood boiler, educational displays and information, light snacks and sampling of local beer.

What is Bioenergy?
Bioenergy is RENEWABLE energy from organic material which stores energy from the sun in the form of chemical energy. Biomass fuels include wood, wood waste, straw, manure and many other byproducts from agricultural processes.

Why attend?
Come to see a demonstration of Greenwood’s state-of-the-art residential wood boiler. Learn more about how this locally sustainable, energy source replaces fossil fuel-fired appliances and plays a key role in maintaining forest health and improving America’s energy security.
